Job Experience

This position will function as PeopleSoft Developer responsible for:

  • Delivering reliable, accurate and efficient solutions for the new development
  • Writing formal technical documentation
  • Developing and Unit Testing PeopleSoft programs/routines
  • Break fix of program/routines
  • Reporting work status to Supervisor on a regular basis, and responding quickly to management questions and concerns
  • Analyzing and develop the System (PeopleSoft and other Oracle products) using tools available (e.g., PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Unix Scripting, COBOL, Phire Architect or Stat)
  • Participate in the integration of the System with Client applications 

 

Required Experience

Minimum 4 years relevant experience in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications  using the following toolsets:  Application Engine, Application Packages, Component Interface, SQR, Application Messaging, and XML
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or maintaining applications using Oracle Database 10g or higher
  • Thorough understanding of PeopleTools 8.53 or more, PeopleCode is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in an IT application development environment supporting a public pension system
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience working and collaborating with others on solutions to develop effective and efficient solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in PeopleSoft applications of HCM and CRM of 9.1 or higher
  • Demonstrated experience working on PeopleSoft CRM

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of Study
  • Seven (7) or more years of general applications development experience is desired
  • Trained in Secure Coding Practices

At least one (1) year of experience in developing and maintaining PeopleSoft applications using the following skills and their toolsets:

  • Integration Broker setup and Maintenance
  • WSDL/Web Service Integration
  • Experience with BI publisher is a plus 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently
