Chief Executive Officer

Cathy Bruschi is Co-founder and CEO of GENESYS Consulting Services. Over the course of 34 years working in the IT staffing and consulting industry, Ms. Bruschi has been intimately involved in virtually every aspect of the business including sales, recruiting, finance, human resources, technical and operations management. Under her leadership, GENESYS has become a leading IT staffing and consulting business in New York State. Ms. Bruschi oversees financial, procurement, recruiting, contracts, and operations management as well as our partnership relationships with small, women, minority and veteran owned businesses. Ms. Bruschi has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science Degree, both from the State University of New York at Albany. Her passions are golf, gardening, and historical fiction.

Damian Bruschi

President

Damian Bruschi is Co-founder and President of GENESYS Consulting Services. Mr. Bruschi began his career as a computer programmer and has extensive experience in sales and business operations management over his 36 years of experience in the IT industry. Mr. Bruschi has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration Degree, both from the State University of New York at Albany.

Leo Pfohl

Vice President

Leo Pfohl is Vice President of GENESYS Consulting Services. With over 25 years working in executive roles for information technology consulting companies, Mr. Pfohl has extensive experience in technology services, marketing, account management, contract negotiation, and operations management. Leo’s proven ability to develop and support clients in the public and private sectors as well as his work in building and maintaining key relationships with our partners has resulted in high levels of customer satisfaction and strong, long-term bonds between GENESYS and our clients. Mr. Pfohl has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management from Siena College. In his free time, Leo enjoys boating, reading, and watching sports.

Laura Daily

Senior Relationship Manager

Ms. Laura Daily, Senior Relationship Manager, has over 25 years of experience in IT recruiting, career placement, and marketing. She is responsible for identifying and recruiting highly skilled business and technical consultants and building new client relationships. As a professional technical relationship manager, Ms. Daily is highly engaged in building networks with technical consultants through personal interaction, through online forums and through participation in IT professional organizations. Ms. Daily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Marketing from the State University of New York Plattsburgh. Laura loves the Joel Osteen quote, “Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life.”

Crista Maiello

Controller

Ms. Crista Maiello, Controller, has over 25 years of experience working for local consulting firms. She is responsible for managing the business and financial functions of the GENESYS administrative office. Ms. Maiello handles all accounting, billing and employee relations at GENESYS including accounts payable, accounts receivable, in-house payroll, and oversees human resources and benefits administration. Ms. Maiello has an extensive background in accounting and human resources, having worked in such capacities in multiple organizations throughout her career. Ms. Maiello earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Business from the State University of New York at Albany.

Christopher Nolan

Technical Recruiter

Christopher Nolan, Technical Recruiter, has both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and an MBA with a concentration in Human Resources from the University at Albany. He has professional experience in the areas of Information Technology, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance. Chris has a passion for communications and for helping others, which has given him the ability to establish relationships and guide professionals throughout the recruiting process.

Mariesa Capaldi, Business Development Manager, has over 20 years of sales, account management and marketing experience.  Ms. Capaldi is a detail-oriented, proven leader who is responsible for identifying key opportunities, building new client relationships, and driving business growth.  Mariesa consistently exceeds customer’s expectations through communication and problem solving.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Rhetoric and Communications from the University at Albany and in her free time enjoys dance, traveling, and volunteering.
